The Colorado Trail

The Colorado Trail is divided into 33 segments, connecting Denver in the east with Durango in the west.

With a total distance of 567 miles, there are several segments that cut through the area primarily near Turquoise Lake. If you’re looking for a run or hike - Check out these major trailheads is a great place to start.

This is Segment 10 running South from Turquoise Lake. There are other options at that trailhead for hiking to various alpine lakes.
